I'm not so sure if we're moving sites, but we are using Sento's vent which is part of this league he made. I forget the link, its somewhere on the site though. You'll have to do some digging.

yeah i dont know if we are moving sites but i did make a shell of a new site give me feedback. also the image is not done, everything is still rough and i havnt decided what to put as background. http://goldenlegionclan.webs.com/

Well Gowe told me he was going to join the league I am in, we have a full .com site and what not, our site is more secure, he told me he was having GK join and he knows that means moving sites but now I am confused if he says here not moving sites I'm completely lost.

Gradual is more dangerous that a quick move, I have done these things b4 all it requires is precision, step 1 is Gowe saying he wants to join which he has already done, 2nd step is to have him register on the site with a password of 123 so I may log in as him, 3rd and step is for me to transfer all important posts to their respective places on the new site. 4th step is once I am done Gowe may change his password, he is given moderation over his clans forums. 5th and final step, is to lock these forums with a global announcement saying the move is complete and as people see they register at the site, then all is well.

This process takes barley even 2 days depending on when Gowe registers lol. The only time consuming process is once our members are registered I need to place them into the Golden Kingdom group so they have access to the clan section of the forums in warband. which is only a minor inconvenience at that moment in time, but as we all have my xfire practically all u have to do is either message me, or wait as I check the forums constantly after the move is complete

A gradual move takes a lot more time, has a lot more confusion, and make a lot of people upset because they don't know where to go in the dead middle of the move lol

Hope we don't move, cannot be bothered signing on another website, I'm just too lazy hehe.

It really isnt that hard its the same signing on to this website just u re register, not like we would be moving ever again, not to mention we already kind of need to move cuz we are not the Golden Legion anymore.

Not to mention its more secured place, all the information is backed up, and its also great for recruitment once the league gets even bigger sense clans in different games will still see the public board of this clan(just they wont see the clan part)

Nothing of this move changes GK in any way really, The clan remains the same, Gowe is still going to have full control over it, the only thing that really changes is the site, which we need it changed anyway lol so why not join the league were you have a more secure .com site and more capabilities in it. We have already 2 clans in 2 different games and are looking for more clans in other games, atm we are only allowing 1 clan to join per game but that may or may not change it all depends on how fast we grow and how much we want to devote, atm tho it looks like its going to be a more exclusive thing having 1 clan per game n such.

Don't think we need more members, since we already have enough to compete with other higher ranking clans, we just need to train those we have instead of more recruiting.

Don't want to be a mass-recruiting clan now do we?

Also I'm just saying what I think about another site. To me, all you need a forums to post spam/important topics and we are GK - even though some topics are called GL, just with that Admin tool called "Edit" and no longer shall GL be a topic name ^^

you cannot change the url. Having just a forum is the basics. Having a full .com site gives us a better standing in terms of respect and in a way it shows how powerful we are. Not to mention how much more customization we would have.

As for recruitment I am not saying we need 50+ members. GK can close and open its recruitment at any time. We may be still a kingdom and the game is still young, but as the game grows clans will eventually get 50-70+ members, which is kind of extreme but clans will do that. Personally I don't feel the need to have more than like 30 members at most.

Not to mention the people that run free forums like this are not as secure as other sites. If someone were to be...upset with us(god forbid but I have seen it happen) if they manage to bring our forums down(which is very possible for any site) all our information, posts, systems, management, roster, everything would be lost. We would then have to recover, remake, repost and everything. having a full .com site or at least the league's site is backed up, every bit of information that is put on that website is backed up by our site admin, in the event the site were to go down due to technical malfunction or some sort of attack or what not, we can easily load the website back up from scratch and continue were we were before instead of having to rebuild.
